Kerrie Urban is a freelance hairstylist based out of New York City
providing high end hairstyling to top models for advertising, editorial, and
runway. In 2000, Kerrie moved to New York from Philadelphia after attending
Moore College of Art and Design and began her career at the Aveda Institute in
New York City where she had the privilege to study under such talents as Nick
Arrojo, Oscar Bond, and Horst Rechelbacher. After graduating first in her class,
Kerrie went on to work at an Aveda Concept salon in the east village called
Parlor.
Kerrie briefly left New York City in 2004 and moved to
Charleston, SC to renovate historic homes. While there, she had the opportunity
to open and manage two of the city's top salons. Having returned to New York
City in early 2007, Kerrie works as a freelance hairstylist for some of the top
models, photographers, and designers in the area. What separates Kerrie from the
rest is not only her talent, but also her professionalism and attention to
detail.
